How You Can Help

In recent years the Zambian Kwatcha been very unstable. Many prices for food, services and goods have also been unstable and very expensive compared with Candian prices. The result is that things cost a lot more now than they did previously. For example, a bag of potato chips costs the equivalent of $8 Canadian! To help deal with this situation, and becasue of the high cost of housing in Kitwe, the Schuetz's have relocated to the town of Kalulushi, just outside of Kitwe, where they were able to find a property with space for a vegetable garden and fruit trees. They are now able to supply some of their own food.
